Which boats can go on a water background?

Boats photographed on the water get clean open water, or keel stands on a ground background. Trailer and lot shots go on ground or studio. Tilted-up outboards don’t get water.

Do ordinary background removers work for boats?

Not well. Masts, rigging, outboards and trailers trip up consumer cutout apps, which clip the hull. Ours are built for open, messy shapes.

Is anything actually built for marine?

Almost nothing. Most sellers are stuck with car-only software or generic phone apps. Here boats are their own thing, not an afterthought.
